North Wales Dentists

Dylan was brought up in Caernarfon and moved down to Cardiff in 2001, where he had the chance to combine his love for rugby with studying Dentistry. After enjoying his time in the city for 10 years, Dylan moved back to North Wales to be closer to his family, and started to work in Penrhyn as a Dentist.

In 2015, Dylan bought Glandwr Dental Practice. Since then it has grown substantially, and has expanded the team with many new additions, including his wife. They now have three beautiful children and still reside in Caernarfon.

Every single member of the team at Glandwr brings a unique skill set to the mix, which makes it such a pleasurable working environment. By 2018, Glandwr had outgrown the current premises. There was a large local demand for a dentist which provided both cosmetic services and cutting edge dentistry. This allowed Dylan to open a new branch in Pwllheli.

Dylan thoroughly enjoys getting to know all of his patients, whilst offering them a full range of general dentistry. However, his passion is in cosmetic dentistry. Dylan enjoys being able to transform something as unique and personal as a smile. He is excited to see what the future of dentistry will bring, and will continue to strive to have Glandwr at the forefront.

Born and bred around the Caernarfon area, Lois studied Dentistry at Leeds University and then moved back to North Wales. After working at the hospital and community centres, Lois came to work at Deintyddfa Glandwr in 2015. Here, she met her husband, Dylan, and they now have 3 beautiful children; Magi, Eli and Loti, and live in Caernarfon. Lois thoroughly enjoys working at Glandwr, mainly due to the great team.

She plans to specialise further in a particular dental field once her girls are older, but for now she enjoys doing general dentistry.

In her spare time, Lois plays hockey for Caernarfon Ladies and enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Sian loves her role as she gets to meet new people and see different treatments take place. She also loves seeing how confident a patient walks out of the practice with their new smile.

In her spare time, Sian enjoys walking around the Llyn Peninsula and attending fitness classes.

Trainee dental nurse at Glandwr, Lydia is also a qualified hairdresser and beauty therapist. In her spare time Lydia enjoys going to the gym and spending time with friends and family. Her plans in the future are to pass her dental nursing exam and travel the world.

Michaela enjoys cooking and walking her two dogs, Sky and Benji. 

Tracy qualified with a National Certificate in Dental Nursing at the Bristol Dental School in the year 2000. She joined Deintyddfa Glandwr in 2006, and became our practice manager gaining her practice management certificate year 1 and 2.

Tracy enjoys the day-to-day challenges which the role brings, and keeping up to date with the current legislation.

Tracy is also an extended duties dental nurse, with a certificate in Oral Health Education from the British Dental Association, and delivers oral health sessions at the practice.

Away from the practice Tracy enjoys going on coastal walks, attending fitness classes, listening to music and audio books, and spending time with family and friends.

Donna Parry is the receptionist at Glandwr Dental Practice in our Pwllheli Practice.

Originally from Bontnewydd, Annest attended Ysgol Syr Hugh Owen, and following various work experiences and some suggestions from her mother, she went on to study dentistry.

Annest graduated from Cardiff University in 2007. She stayed in Cardiff to complete her vocational training before travelling to Australia. There, she worked as a dentist for Queensland Health, and was based in Cairns. Her duties included working as a school and community dentist, as well as a dentist alongside the Flying Doctors to provide dental care in remote areas. After 6 months, she took the rest of the year purely to travel; this included more of Australia, as well as New Zealand, Fiji, Samoa, and South America.

Annest returned to North Wales in 2009 and felt she needed more hospital experience. She completed 6 months training in the MaxilloFacial department in the Gwynedd and Glan Clwyd Hospitals, before spending another 6 months with the Community Dental Service.
