Dylan was brought up in Caernarfon and moved down to Cardiff in 2001, where he had the chance to combine his love for rugby with studying Dentistry. After enjoying his time in the city for 10 years, Dylan moved back to North Wales to be closer to his family, and started to work in Penrhyn as a Dentist.

In 2015, Dylan bought Glandwr Dental Practice. Since then it has grown substantially, and has expanded the team with many new additions, including his wife. They now have three beautiful children and still reside in Caernarfon.

Every single member of the team at Glandwr brings a unique skill set to the mix, which makes it such a pleasurable working environment. By 2018, Glandwr had outgrown the current premises. There was a large local demand for a dentist which provided both cosmetic services and cutting edge dentistry. This allowed Dylan to open a new branch in Pwllheli.

Dylan thoroughly enjoys getting to know all of his patients, whilst offering them a full range of general dentistry. However, his passion is in cosmetic dentistry. Dylan enjoys being able to transform something as unique and personal as a smile. He is excited to see what the future of dentistry will bring, and will continue to strive to have Glandwr at the forefront.

Born and bred around the Caernarfon area, Lois studied Dentistry at Leeds University and then moved back to North Wales. After working at the hospital and community centres, Lois came to work at Deintyddfa Glandwr in 2015. Here, she met her husband, Dylan, and they now have 3 beautiful children; Magi, Eli and Loti, and live in near Bontnewydd. Lois thoroughly enjoys working at Glandwr, mainly due to the great team.

Lois did her Invisalign training in 2021, she absolutely loved aligners and everything they achieved, and decided that she wanted to enhance this further. In 2025 she passed her Diploma in Clear Aligners and now spends all of her working time treating Invisalign patients. 

With most Invisalign cases taking an average of 6 months to complete Lois loves getting to know her patients and giving them their dream smile.

In 2024-2025 Lois treated the most Invisalign cases in North Wales.

In her spare time, Lois plays and coaches hockey for Caernarfon Ladies and enjoys spending time with family and friends. This year she has been selected to represent Wales Masters Hockey (O35s) and will be playing in the World Cup this July.

Aimee graduated from Liverpool in 2017 before moving to Anglesey and then  back home to work in Glandwr Dental Practice in 2022. In that time she quickly realised that her passion was in cosmetic dentistry and decided to obtain further training at postgraduate diploma level in order to provide her patients with the care and smile they deserve. 

In addition to cosmetic dentistry she also provides facial aesthetics to our Glandwr patients from antiwrinkle treatments to skin boosters and dermal fillers. She believes in natural results that leave her patients feeling fresh and more confident in their own skin.

Outside of work Aimee spends her free time sailing and renovating her family home (very slowly), visiting the local brunch spots and walking the coastal path with her husband, son and yellow Labrador, Albus.

Originally from Anglesey, Meilir graduated with honours in Dentistry in 2014. He has since gained a Postgraduate Certificate in Restorative Dentistry and a Postgraduate Diploma in Oral Surgery, and is currently completing a Master’s degree in Dental Implantology. Having worked in London and overseas in Tonga, Meilir is now delighted to be back practising closer to home in North Wales.

Outside of dentistry, Meilir enjoys making music, running along the coast, and learning Spanish.

Nia grew up in Chester and graduated from Cardiff Dental School in 2014 before completing her training in London. She loves to travel and particularly enjoyed volunteering as a dentist in Tonga. Nia is currently completing a master’s degree in Endodontics, enjoying this intricate side of dentistry. Outside of work, she enjoys wild swimming, sewing and is currently learning Welsh.

Originally from Caernarfon, Sara qualified from Glasgow University in 2024 and moved back home to North Wales after graduating.

She spends most of my spare time hiking, running, playing netball or going to the gym.

She currently enjoys all aspects of dentistry and hopes to expand and develop her skills further and possibly specialise in the future.

I’m originally from St Helen’s Merseyside, but the love of a good woman (Rhian) brought me to Anglesey.

I’ve worked on the Island for almost 30 years now with almost 10 years spent working in Cemaes.

I enjoy general dentistry, especially restorative work, crowns, bridges and composite restorations plus putting patients at ease. I love the continued care aspect and the rapport you build up with patients with time, providing dentistry in a relaxed environment with a great view too!

I’ve been with Rhian since 1992, married since 1998 and we’ve had three children Nia, Rhys and Sion, which we’ve been lucky to bring up here in this lovely seaside village.

Interests outside of dentistry and spending time with the family include Ornithology, the wider natural world, photography and travel, usually in search of birds! I’ve been the Anglesey County Bird Recorder on and off since 1999, I’m on the Welsh Birds Rarity Committee, and when I’m not birding, I’m a big Liverpool fan, getting to Anfield as much as I can.

I am a general dentist, having worked in Cemaes for over 20 years, in my home village, having gone to school at Ysgol Gynradd Cemaes and then YSTJ, Amlwch.
When I’m not working you’ll find me on a hockey pitch somewhere either playing or coaching.

Justin qualified in Cardiff in 1987, and has been working in the Penrhyn practice since July 1987. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has a special interest in orthodontics.

Originally from Bontnewydd, Annest attended Ysgol Syr Hugh Owen, and following various work experiences and some suggestions from her mother, she went on to study dentistry.

Annest graduated from Cardiff University in 2007. She stayed in Cardiff to complete her vocational training before travelling to Australia. There, she worked as a dentist for Queensland Health, and was based in Cairns. Her duties included working as a school and community dentist, as well as a dentist alongside the Flying Doctors to provide dental care in remote areas. After 6 months, she took the rest of the year purely to travel; this included more of Australia, as well as New Zealand, Fiji, Samoa, and South America.Annest returned to North Wales in 2009 and felt she needed more hospital experience. She completed 6 months training in the MaxilloFacial department in the Gwynedd and Glan Clwyd Hospitals, before spending another 6 months with the Community Dental Service.

Gwion Rhys Williams is a GP at Glandwr Medical Practice, where he looks after patients and provides a wide range of care. He’s also developed an interest in minor surgery, which means he can offer more treatments directly at the practice. On top of that, he works with out-of-hours GP services, helping make sure people can get medical help when the surgery is closed.

Outside of work, Gwion likes to keep busy. He enjoys cooking and trying out new recipes, as well as going for walks to relax. He’s really into music and spends time both playing and listening. He also swims regularly to stay active. Most importantly, he enjoys spending time with his family.

Dr Endaf ap Ieuan is a private GP here at

I graduated from the University of Wales Medical School, Cardiff in 1992 and have been a GP with the NHS since 1997, the majority of that in Llanfairpwll, Anglesey. I joined the Glandwr team in January 2025. 

With years of experience as a General Medical Practitioner and during my career I developed an interest in skin conditions, diabetes and musculoskeletal problems, especially those that required joint injections.

I am also happy to see you for general lifestyle advice and health screens and assessments with the focus on prevention of ill health.

My training in general medicine and cardiology was in London and Birmingham. I have worked as a Consultant Cardiologist for the last 30 years. The last 20 years I have lived on Anglesey and been based at Ysbyty Gwynedd. I am experienced in all aspects of adult general cardiology and investigation, and undertake diagnostic cardiac catheterisation, echocardiography, pacemaker implantation and treadmill exercise testing.

I have a special interest in the management of heart failure, ischaemic heart disease, atrial fibrillation and heart valve disease. During my time in the Midlands and North Wales I have contributed to establishing services to streamline the diagnosis and optimal management of these conditions. Since coming to Ysbyty Gwynedd I have been Clinical Lead for Cardiac Services and spent 5 years as Clinical Director for Medicine.

I live in Anglesey and have worked in North Wales my entire career, apart from time training in Manchester. I have been a Consultant Physician and Gastroenterologist in Ysbyty Gwynedd since 2011.

I qualified from University of Wales College of Medicine (Cardiff) in 2002 and am a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in London.

I cover all aspects of gastroenterology, including IBS, inflammatory bowel disease, gastrointestinal cancer, liver disease and indigestion/ dyspepsia.

Mrs Studnicka-Perkin graduated from medical school in Poland in 2005 and gained majority of subsequent post-graduate experience and qualifications in United Kingdom where she currently works as a Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery Consultant. 

She completed Foundation Training in East Anglia, followed by one year of Accident and Emergency training in Glasgow  before settling into the surgical training. 

She progressed through Core Surgical Training and Specialist Training in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery in Mersey Deanery achieving Klennerman’s golden medal for outstanding achievements during the process.

She completed the final FRCS Orth exam in 2021 and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. The same year she completed the European Board of Orthopaedics and Trauma Exam and became a Fellow of the Sport and Exercise Medicine College after passing the exit exam of this additional specialty training. 

Mrs Studnicka-Perkin completed Upper Limb Fellowship at Wrightington Hospital, world-renowned centre of excellence for elective orthopaedic surgery in 2023.

She currently practices as a substantive Consultant at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board West Sector. At the acute site, Ysbyty Gwynedd, she looks after patients who sustained trauma to their limbs and spine while at elective site in Llandudno General Hospital, she looks after patients with elective Hand, Wrist and Elbow problems. Mrs Studnicka-Perkin also has a  private practice at various locations within North West. 

In addition, she is a graduate of prestigious MSc in Orthopaedic Engineering at Cardiff University, acts as the Advanced Life and Trauma Support Instructor at the Royal College of England and engages with medico-legal aspect of work by providing expert witness reporting. 

She holds an International Diploma in Mountain Medicine gained while working as an Expedition Medic during her junior doctor years when she travelled extensively.

Currently apart from enjoying spending time with her young family, Mrs Studnicka-Perkin enjoys the outdoors and exploring the beauty of North Wales.  Her favourite sports include mountain biking, skiing trail running and strengh training.

Mr. Soler Fernandez is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon based at Spire Murrayfield Hospital, Wirral.  He is fellowship trained in routine and complex surgery of the hip and knee of the adult, including total hip replacement, total knee replacement, partial knee replacements, and state-of-the-art robotic surgery.

His aim is to offer surgical excellence by offering unique and personalised treatment to his patients incorporating the latest surgical developments and clinical evidence.

He offers a patient-centred service taking into account specific needs and expectations.

Sion is a Chartered Physiotherapist working across the NHS and private sector, with a focus on musculoskeletal injuries and rehabilitation. He is passionate about helping people reduce pain, restore movement, and improve their quality of life through a compassionate, patient-centred approach. He holds a degree in Sport and Exercise Science from Liverpool John Moores University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Physiotherapy from Bangor University (2022). Outside of work, Sion enjoys football, running, strength training, and spending time with family and friends.

Sam is a physiotherapist with 5 years of experience treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. A keen runner and triathlete, he is passionate about helping people move better and live more active, healthier lives through personalized care and rehabilitation.

Qualifications or bio: I have over 30 years of experience working in healthcare across the UK and Australia. I began my career with the NHS, where I spent 10 years working as a Healthcare Assistant on a busy medical ward.

I then relocated to Queensland, Australia, where I trained as a nurse, achieving both a Diploma and an Advanced Diploma in Nursing, with a specialism in orthopaedic care. Following my registration with the Nursing Council, I spent a decade working in a private hospital, focusing on post-operative care for joint replacement patients.

After returning to the UK, I continued my career as a Healthcare Assistant within a District Nursing Team for a further 10 years, providing community-based care. I have since relocated to Anglesey.

Outside of work, I enjoy walking, mountain biking, and travelling.

Julie is our passionate health care assistant with Level 6 Honours Degree in health, wellbeing leadership/management within health care andLevel 3 Diploma in Clinical Support work/ Clinical Healthcare. Her interests are health, wellbeing and human biology. In her spare time Julie loves being outdoors with her springer spaniel and her daughters.

Laura began her career in dentistry by qualifying as a Dental Nurse in 2018 before progressing to complete her Dental Hygiene qualification at Bangor University in 2025. She is passionate about providing high-quality care and particularly enjoys helping anxious patients feel comfortable during their visits. Laura takes pride in educating patients on how to maintain excellent oral health. Outside of work, she enjoys long walks, has recently taken up running, loves spending time with family and friends, and enjoys travelling with her soon-to-be husband, James.

Gayle is a fully qualified Foot Health Practitioner based on Anglesey, where she was born and raised. Welsh is her first language, and she takes pride in being able to offer services in both Welsh and English to clients at Glandwr.

She began her career in her early twenties as a beauty therapist. Over time, she discovered a particular passion for foot care, which led her to retrain later in life. She completed her training with Stonebridge College in Birmingham, gaining the skills and knowledge required to provide professional foot health treatments.

Gayle has now been practising as a Foot Health Practitioner for several years and is passionate about helping people maintain healthy, comfortable feet. She is known for her friendly, professional approach and her commitment to patient care.

Outside of work, Gayle enjoys reading, walking her dog Cadi Mai, and going out on her motorbike.

I’m a Chartered Physiotherapist working with a focus on musculoskeletal injuries and rehab. I help people move better, reduce pain, and get back to doing what they enjoy through tailored, evidence-based care.

During my spare time I enjoy reading, keeping active and watching football. 

Jac is a chartered physiotherapist with a passion in helping individuals recover from injury. He also has keen interest in sports performance and rehabilitation and aims to combine evidence-based practice with a personable approach to support patients through any stage of their recovery.

Outside of work Jac spend a lot of time in the gym, running, watching and playing football and travelling when possible!

Sian loves her role as she gets to meet new people and see different treatments take place. She also loves seeing how confident a patient walks out of the practice with their new smile. I also do fitness classes in Glandwr for patients. And have done my level 2 & level 3 personal training course. 

I enjoy going to the gym in the mornings before work and going for coffee and walks on the weekends. 

In her spare time, Sian enjoys walking around the Llyn Peninsula and attending fitness classes.

I have been qualified as a dental nurse for 3 years. I enjoy nursing along Dr Nia who specialises in Root Canal Treatments. I love to travel with my husband and spend time with our dog. I like to keep healthy by going to the gym and cooking healthy meals at home.

My name is Mika, and I’m proud to be part of the team as a dental nurse and treatment coordinator. Originally from Slovakia, I moved to the UK in 2018 and have recently achieved my dental nursing qualification — something I’m incredibly proud of. I’m passionate about continuing to grow in the dental field and look forward to taking additional courses such as impressions and radiographs to further expand my skills.

In my role as treatment coordinator, I enjoy meeting patients during their consultations and helping them feel at ease while discussing their treatment options. I believe in creating a calm and friendly atmosphere where every patient feels comfortable and confident about their care.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my partner, Dewi, and our two dogs, Benji and Sky. When I’m not out on a walk with them, you’ll probably find me getting creative with a bit of DIY at home!

Chris has over 30 years’ experience in Dental Nursing.

When she isn’t working, she likes to go travelling, walking her dog and spending time with her grandchildren.

I am really new to Dentistry and I am in the early stages of my dental

nurse training, I am really enjoying it and I am grateful to be a part

of such a friendly, talented and encouraging team who are helping me

every day to learn. In my spare time I enjoy reading and sometimes

writing poetry and creating art.

I am a fully qualified Dental Nurse, who took time out to travel and live abroad whilst raising my children, I have recently resumed nursing in Cemaes Bay and am really enjoying being in such a friendly and supportive environment. In my spare time I enjoy walks with my puppy, reading and spending time with my family and those closest to me.

Lauren graduated as a Dental Nurse in 2025. She also has a degree in Psychology.

She enjoys all aspects of Dentistry and usually you can see her working alongside Dr Mei. In the future she hopes to do further training in Nursing for Implants. 

In her spare time she loves walking, socialising with friends and going to the gym.

 I have been working in Dentistry for 2 years now, and I have nearly

completed my Dental Nursing Course. I am looking forward to see what the

the future holds. In my spare time I enjoy going for walks with my dog and

doing Pilates classes.

Leila qualified as a dental nurse in October 2024. She has a strong interest in sedation and supporting anxious patients during their treatment.

In her spare time Leila enjoys spending time with her friends and family, going for walks and shopping.

Trainee dental nurse at Glandwr, Lydia is also a qualified hairdresser and beauty therapist. In her spare time Lydia enjoys going to the gym and spending time with friends and family. Her plans in the future are to pass her dental nursing exam and travel the world.

Demi is a trainee dental nurse at Glandwr with a strong passion for patient care. She enjoys building her skills and gaining insight into the day-to-day workings of the dental profession. Outside of work Demi loves going for walks, spending quality time with friends and family and exploring new places when she can.

Ceri Richards is our Healthcare Manager and Registered Public Health Nutritionist at Glandwr she oversees daily operations while also delivering health checks and weight management support. With a Master’s degree in Nutrition, Obesity and Weight Management, Ceri has a strong background in public health and service development. She is passionate about helping people build healthier lifestyles and improving the quality of care delivered to patients. In her spare time she enjoys travelling and diving into the local cuisine and culture.

Tracy qualified with a National Certificate in Dental Nursing at the Bristol Dental School in the year 2000. She joined Deintyddfa Glandwr in 2006, and became our practice manager gaining her practice management certificate year 1 and 2.

Tracy enjoys the day-to-day challenges which the role brings, and keeping up to date with the current legislation.

Tracy is also an extended duties dental nurse, with a certificate in Oral Health Education from the British Dental Association, and delivers oral health sessions at the practice.

Away from the practice Tracy enjoys going on coastal walks, attending fitness classes, listening to music and audio books, and spending time with family and friends.She is also a proud parent of two teenage children, who keep her life busy and full of energy.

I have been involved in Dentistry for over 40 years, starting as a trainee Dental Nurse and progressing to Practice Manager.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my journey through Dentistry over the years and I am currently enjoying my role as Practice Manager in Cemaes Bay, where I have worked for 15 years.

In my spare time I enjoy socialising, walking with my dog, playing table tennis and have recently started motorcycling!

Angharad qualified as a dental nurse in 2022, she went on to complete her Specialist Sedation Course in 2025 to work with Dr Annest on sedation cases. She is now our Assistant Manager where she helps with the smooth day-to-day running of the practice, supporting both patients and the wider team.

In her spare time she loves to spend time with her friends and family, cooking and reading the occasional book.

Gwenan started at Glandwr as a receptionist in 2024 and is now our regional manager across the practices. She enjoys working with the increasing team at Glandwr. In her spare time she enjoys walking with the family and occasionally takes part in the odd ultra marathon.

Donna has been a receptionist in Glandwr for 3 years. Outside of work she loves to cook and try new recipes, socialising with friends and meeting new people and spending time with her husband and two kids. She enjoys fitness classes and focusing on her health.

I joined the team in March 2026 and have quickly settled into my role. I’m

really enjoying the experience so far and love being part of such a

supportive environment. I’m excited to continue developing my skills

and look forward to what the future holds.

Efa is our receptionist in our Pwllheli Practice. She enjoys her role and developing new skills. Outside of work she loves spending time with friends and family, meeting new people and socialising. She enjoys pilates classes and unwinding with a good book when she gets the chance.
